Our roots grow deep.

Fairmont is a unique country campus with deep roots and an outstanding reputation.

A rich heritage

Set in an established farming area known for nearly a century of stone fruit, citrus and raisin production, the Fairmont community has a reputation for strong values, outstanding work ethic, and a commitment to supporting education. Many current Fairmont students have parents and even grandparents who attended the school, and several current educators are Fairmont alumni.

A rich heritage

Leading the way

This rich tradition is uniquely coupled with a dynamic and ambitious staff who embrace diversity and innovation, inspiring the launch of the first K-8 comprehensive agriculture education program in California. Each week, students receive an hour of NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) agricultural science instruction from a veteran full-time agriculture teacher, then apply those lessons to investigations and experiments in the field.

Building for the future

When Sanger Unified School District acquired a 2-acre parcel of land adjacent to the existing campus in 2018, the vision for the Ag Complex bloomed. Here, students will explore real-world agriculture concepts in a high-tech, hands-on environment. The goal – to produce graduates with a deep understanding of agriculture who are prepared to anticipate and meet the changing world’s demands on agriculture with innovation and expertise.

Building for the future

Excellence in education

Beyond its commitment to agriculture, Fairmont has demonstrated excellence in all aspects of education, receiving multiple grant funding opportunities as well as numerous awards including: California Gold Ribbon Award, National Forum of Schools to Watch, PBIS Platinum Award, Bonner Virtues of Character Award, Golden Bell Award, PLC At Work Model School Award, and recognized as an Apple Distinguished School.
